The musical revue was originally scheduled to play a limited engagement through Jan. 31, 2004, but was extended due to audience demand. Our Sinatra will have played 142 performances at the midtown cabaret.
The Our Sinatra cast currently features Hilary Kole, Tony DeSare and Adam James under the direction of Kurt Stamm. Produced by Jack Lewin, Our Sinatra's creative team includes Richard Maltby, Jr. (production supervisor) and Jeff Nellis (lighting design).
A full-length celebration of the music of the late Frank Sinatra — featuring tunes the legendary singer made famous as well as anecdotes about his life and career — Our Sinatra was originally presented at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room and made its official Off-Broadway debut on Dec. 19, 1999, at the Blue Angel Theatre. The show then played The Reprise Room at Dillon's on West 45th Street.
Conceived by original cast members Eric Comstock, Christopher Gines and the aforementioned Kole, some of the many tunes rendered by the show's trio of performers include "At Long Last Love," "All the Way," "Time After Time," "These Foolish Things," "Witchcraft" and "Where or When."
