PlayBlog Over 1,100 NYC High School Kids Give Memphis Cast a Finale Surprise (Video) The cast of the Tony Award-winning musical Memphis performed for an audience of over 1,100 high school kids Feb. 3. Video of the show's finale, "Steal Your Rock 'N' Roll," which featured the kids jumping out of their seats and joining in flash-mob style, has been released.

The students had been practicing the song's lyrics and choreography for weeks before seeing Memphis, their first Broadway show. The performance was part of the "Inspire Change" initiative co-founded by the Memphis producers, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Tony Awards and watchmaker Audemars Piguet.

To watch the students sing and dance their hearts out, to the delight and tears of Memphis actor J. Bernard Calloway and the rest of the cast, look below:
