News Over 30 Years After Opening Don't Tell Mama, Karen Mason Will Return for Month-Long Engagement; Details Announced Karen Mason, who was last on Broadway in the Frank Wildhorn musical Wonderland, will play a month-long engagement at the New York cabaret Don't Tell Mama in March.

Mason will perform Sunday and Monday evenings at 7 PM throughout the month of March. Barry Kleinbort directs with musical direction by Christopher Denny.

The upcoming engagement will include such tunes as "Something's Coming," "Almost Like Being in Love," "Happy Just to Dance with You," "It's about Time," "As If We Never Said Goodbye," "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend," "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" and "He's Got a Way," among others.

Mason performed "Something's Coming" and "Almost Like Being in Love" when she opened Don't Tell Mama in 1982.

Mason told Playbill.com, "The set list is still in the works, and each week we will be adding and changing… because we have five weeks [of performances] to choose from… and a lot of music possibilities."
