News "Over the Rainbow": Eder Will Sing Garland at Kennedy Center Linda Eder, the powerhouse singer seen on Broadway in Jekyll & Hyde, will perform the songs made famous by Judy Garland during three upcoming concerts at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Linda Eder Sings Judy Garland, which will be presented Sept. 25-27, is part of the National Symphony Orchestra Pops season at the famed Washington, DC, venue. Tony Award winner Marvin Hamlisch will conduct the orchestra. Show times are Sept. 25 at 7 PM and Sept. 26 and 27 at 8 PM.

Eder previously explored the works of Garland on her Angel Records CD, "By Myself: The Songs of Judy Garland." That recording featured Eder's interpretations of "By Myself," "Almost Like Being in Love"/"This Can't Be Love," "Me and My Shadow," "I'd Like to Hate Myself in the Morning," "It Never Was You," "Zing! Went the Strings of My Heart"/"The Trolley Song," "The Rainbow's End," "The Boy Next Door"/"You Made Me Love You," "Do It Again," "Rock-a-Bye Your Baby with a Dixie Melody" and "Over the Rainbow."

Linda Eder made her Broadway debut as Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, garnering a Theatre World Award as well as Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for her work. Also a concert and recording artist, her solo CDs include "Linda Eder," "And So Much More," "It's Time," "Gold" and "Broadway My Way." Eder also starred in Frank Wildhorn's Camille Claudel at Goodspeed. Her newest recording is titled "The Other Side of Me."
