News Pablo Schreiber Joins Cast of CBS Series "A Gifted Man" Tony Award nominee Pablo Schreiber will join stage and screen actors Patrick Wilson, Jennifer Ehle, Margo Martindale and Afton Williamson this fall in the CBS medical drama, "A Gifted Man," according to Deadline.com.

Schreiber, who guest-starred in the pilot episode, directed by Jonathan Demme and written by Susanna Grant, has signed on to be a series regular.

In the hour-long drama, Martindale will play the assistant to Michael (Wilson), a competitive surgeon whose life changes when his ex-wife (Ehle) dies, but comes back to teach him life lessons. Martindale's character, Rita, helps Michael get through the day. Schreiber will play Anton, a shaman and New Age spiritual healer to Michael.

Schreiber was nominated for a Tony Award in 2006 for his performance in Awake and Sing! He has also been seen on Broadway in Desire Under the Elms.

Ehle won the Tony Award in 2000 for her work in The Real Thing and again in 2007 for her performances in The Coast of Utopia trilogy. Wilson received Tony nominations for his performances in Oklahoma! and The Full Monty, and Martindale was nominated in 2004 for her performance in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Williamson was seen on Broadway in Race.

"A Gifted Man" is set to air Friday nights on CBS at 8 PM ET.
