News Pace Students Raise Funds for BC/EFA with March 3 and 6 Diary Students from Pace University are offering two performances of The Diary of Anne Frank to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

The March 3 and 6 performances are being held in the Multipurpose Room, located on the campus of Pace University. Show time is 8 PM.

Steve McCasland directs the evenings with co-direction by Lisa C.M. Lamothe. The cast includes Kadey Carter as Anne, Molly Bernard, Kerrie Bond, Mitchell Sawyer, DJ Hopson, Mariah Martin, Steve Lesce, Brad LeBoeuf, Kaitlin Stern and Doug Plaut.

The Diary of Anne Frank "follows two years of Anne Frank's life from 1942 to 1944, when she and her family were forced into hiding during the Nazi occupation of Amsterdam. In her diary, thirteen-year-old Anne recorded mostly her hopes, frustrations, clashes with her parents, and observations of her companions. The final entry in her diary coincides with the capture of the family, which led to her untimely death."

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation's largest industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. Since its founding in 1988 the organization has distributed over $100 million for services for people with AIDS, HIV or HIV-related illnesses.
