Oct. 18
American Showstoppers
Featuring the Fred Barton Orchestra
An Evening of Cy Coleman
"Broadway composer Cy Coleman once summed up his show business philosophy in a conversation with conductor-arranger Fred Barton:  'I like to entertain.' And entertain he did, in a prolific series of the most high-octane, brassy Broadway scores ever written, including Sweet Charity, Seesaw, Little Me, Barnum, The Will Rogers Follies, and Broadway’s ultimate big-band swing show, City of Angels. His shelf was lined with Tony Awards and his songs set millions of toes tapping throughout his over 40-year career.  Fred Barton, collaborator with Cy Coleman on three of his productions, now brings the powerful pulse of Coleman’s Broadway sound back where it belongs, front and center, with a hot swing orchestra and a cast of Broadway singers and dancers.  The concert will feature the top Cy Coleman hit songs as well as solid gold gems that deserve another hearing featuring a cast that will include original Broadway cast members of some of Cy Coleman’s best-loved shows, some talented new faces, and the Scott Thompson Dancers."

March 6
American Showstoppers
Featuring the Fred Barton Orchestra
An Evening with Irving Berlin
"Irving Berlin's work is the gold standard in American show music, spanning over 100 years from his Russian-Jewish origins, through his earliest purely American hit, 'Alexander's Ragtime Band' (which was played on the Titanic in 1912), through the entire 20th-century evolution of the Broadway musical. Fred Barton and his Orchestra will bring an entire century of Irving Berlin's greatest songs to life once more, as they were meant to be heard and seen, on stage with a cast of expert Broadway singers and dancers, with new orchestrations in the Golden-Age Broadway style at its finest."

Patti LuPone in Concert

An Evening with Ben Vereen
"Broadway legend, Ben Vereen, best known for his roles in Pippin, Wicked, Will Roger’s Follies, and many more, performs a one-man concert with a three-piece live music back-up.  Spend an evening with Ben as he covers many of the musical highlights of his career."
