Parade's Evan Pappas and Titanic's Adam Heller lead the cast of Larry Kunofsky's bender/gender/straight & neutered, the final 1999-2000 BareBones production for New York City's Lark Theatre Company. The self-described "play cycle" runs March 16-20 at the Lark Studio with Jack Cummings III directing. Relationships, sexuality and gender are at the core of bender/gender/straight & neutered as the play takes several normal New Yorkers and pairs them with their alter egos. This comedy joins Kunofsky's other works, (In) Fidelities, The Lunch Anxieties, What to Do When You Hate Your Friends and Ollie Lekmyer Does Not Exist.

Pappas played the reporter Britt Craig in the Tony Award winning Parade, also appearing in Lincoln Center's My Favorite Year and the Lark's Pera Palas. Heller was on Broadway in Victor/Victoria, toured as J. Bruce Ismay in Titanic and starred in the York Theatre production of Merrily We Roll Along opposite Malcolm Gets.

Also in the cast are Andrea Bianchi, Jennifer Gibbs, Matt Hoverman, Robyn Hussa, James Lorenzo and Amy Staats.

Tickets are $12. The Lark Studio is located at 939 Eighth Avenue between 55th and 56th Streets. For tickets and information, call The Lark at (212) 246-2676.

BareBones productions are fully-staged with suggestions of set, lighting, costumes and music. After reviewing nearly 600 play submissions, the Lark also presented BareBones productions of Ian Cohen's God's Creatures and the Craig Safan-Kirby Tepper musical, Lola: The True Story of Lola Montez.
