News Parade's Burns Sings Merman and Martin in No Biz Like Show Biz Andrea Burns, who starred in the national tour of Jason Robert Brown's Parade, will be featured in the world premiere of No Biz Like Show Biz, which opens the Good Theater season in Portland, Maine.

Burns will be joined by Kelly Caufield and Lynne McGhee for the musical revue, which features the songs introduced onstage by the late Mary Martin and Ethel Merman. No Biz was created and will be directed by Good Theater Artistic Director Brian P. Allen.

Audiences can expect to hear tunes from Annie Get Your Gun, Gypsy, South Pacific, Peter Pan, Call Me Madam and The Sound of Music. Aaron Robinson, who is the show's musical director, has created original arrangements for the four concert performances on Sept. 15 at 7:30 PM, Sept. 16 and 17 at 8 PM and Sept. 18 at 2 PM.

In a statement, director Allen said, "The beauty of this show is that the three women I've cast can do either Merman roles or Martin roles. I see this concert being performed by symphony orchestras, in nightclubs or in theatres. It works on many levels for those looking for some nostalgic memories to those who are being introduced to this phenomenal music for the first time."

Andrea Burns has been seen on Broadway in Beauty and the Beast and The Full Monty and Off-Broadway in Saturday Night, Sail Away! and Songs for a New World. She starred in the national tours of Parade and The Full Monty, and her regional credits include 1776, Oklahoma!, Evita and West Side Story.
