The hit production of Trouble in Paradise, presented by the Hourglass Group, in association with True Faux Productions, will end its extended run on July 22.

The show, conceived and directed by Elyse Singer, is a stage adaptation of the 1932 Ernst Lubitsch film of the same name, which had a screenplay by Samson Raphaelson. The film was adapted by author David Simpatico and features an original score by downtown jazz veteran Steven Bernstein and the Millennial Territory Orchestra. The story, about a romantic triangle involving a couple of elegant swindlers and their mark, stars a crack downtown cast, including Carolyn Baeumler, Nina Hellman, Jeremy Shamos, Henry Caplan, Liam Craig, Cynthia Darlow, Steven Rattazzi and Gordon Stanley. Sets are by Lauren Helpern, costumes by Theresa Squire, lighting by Traci Klainer, and sound design by Katie Down.

Trouble in Paradise runs at Hudson Guild Theatre, located at 441 West 26th Street. For more info visit www.troubleinparadisenyc.com.
