After its limited engagement at the Ronacher Theatre in Vienna, the touring company of Fame comes to Paris on the prestigious stage of the Folies Bergere, from Feb. 18- Mar. 15.
German producer Wolfgang Bocksch regularly brings touring companies to Paris. In Dec. 95, Bocksch brought A Chorus Line and My Fair Lady (starring Richard Chamberlain) to the Theatre Mogador. Currently playing in Vienna, this touring company of Fame has previously stopped by Berlin and some other German cities.
It seems like a few members from the current Vienna production will be replaced for the Paris engagement. In Paris, Miss Sherman will be played by Michelle Strickland Crenshaw, Miss Myers by Blane Savage and Mr. Sheinkopf by Dale Jones. The cast remains unchanged concerning the students.
