Park Avenue Cat to Premiere at London's Arts Theatre, with Gray O'Brien and Josefina Gabrielle

News   Park Avenue Cat to Premiere at London's Arts Theatre, with Gray O'Brien and Josefina Gabrielle Park Avenue Cat, a Los Angeles comedy by Frank Strausser, will receive its world premiere at London's Arts Theatre, beginning performances July 1 prior to an official opening July 7, for a run through Aug. 20.

Gray O'Brien, best known for playing Tony Gordon in TV's "Coronation Street," and Josefina Gabrielle, seen in the West End and on Broadway as Laurie opposite Hugh Jackman and Patrick Wilson, respectively, in Trevor Nunn's production of Oklahoma!,  will be joined by Tessa Peake-Jones (TV's "Only Fools and Horses") and Daniel Weyman (seen in the title role of Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Nicholas Nickleby that transferred to the West End's Gielgud Theatre). The play is directed by Glen Wlaford, who most recently directed Shirley Valentine at the Menier Chocolate Factory that transferred to the West End's Trafalgar Studios.

According to press materials, "This triangle has four corners. One beautiful woman, two Alpha males and very confused LA therapist presiding over a love triangle in couples' therapy. In the privacy of the psychotherapist's consultation room, the first role is that you tell your therapist everything. Or do you? Park Avenue Cat tells you what happens when something crucial is held back."
