Peter DuBois (Jack Goes Boating) will direct the event, which will also include Addie Johnson, Rebecca Hart, the playwright David Grimm and 13P member Sheila Callaghan. The playwright Douglas Carter Beane (The Little Dog Laughed) will host.

A silent auction will feature items donated by such playwrights as Edward Albee, Tina Howe and David Henry Hwang as well as tickets to "The Daily Show," the Public Theater, Disney World and other venues.

13P was formed in 2003 by 13 mid-career playwrights "concerned about what the trend of endless readings and new play development programs is doing to the texture and ambition of new American plays," according to press notes. The company instead creates full productions of new plays. The event benefits 13P's upcoming season, which will include plays by Ann Marie Healy and Sheila Callaghan. Tickets are $100 and are available from Joe's Pub at (212) 967-7555 or online at www.joespub.com or www.13p.org
