Adam Pascal Live, which will be offered Sept. 18-20 at the Calderwood Pavilion, will feature the original star of Rent and Aida performing Broadway, rock and original songs with his band. Concertgoers can expect to hear Pascal's renditions of "One Song Glory," "Maybe This Time" and "New York State of Mind," among others.
Carrie Fisher's one-woman show, Wishful Drinking, will be seen at the Huntington's mainstage, the Boston University Theatre, Oct. 10-26. In her show, press notes state, Fisher "recounts her incredible life as a single mother battling addiction, depression, mental institutions, and that awful hyperspace hairdo; having Elizabeth Taylor as a stepmother; wedding and shedding Paul Simon; having the father of her baby leave her for a man; and waking up one morning to find a friend dead beside her in bed."
Tickets for both events will go on sale Aug. 19. Additional Huntington Presents programming, including a winter cabaret series, will be announced in the fall.
The Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA is located at 527 Tremont Street in Boston, MA. The Boston University Theatre is located at 264 Huntington Avenue.
