News Passing Strange's Davis to Play Joe's Pub in March Eisa Davis, who is currently making her Broadway debut as Mother in Passing Strange, will go it solo at Joe's Pub in March.

Davis, according to press notes, will bring her "unique brand of stripped down, soulful, piano-lush reveries" to Joe's Pub March 10. Show time is 9:30 PM.

Eisa Davis has appeared on Broadway in The Violet Hour and Off-Broadway in Passing Strange, Belize and June and Jean in Concert. Her regional theatre credits include Passing Strange, Intimate Apparel, Blues for an Alabama Sky and Valley Song. On screen Davis has been seen in "The Wire," "Law & Order," "Soul Food," "Robot Stories," "The Architect," "Confess" and "Happenstance."
