PlayBlog Patina Miller and Cast of Sister Act Sing on "Good Morning America" (Video) The cast of Broadway's Sister Act appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" April 12, performing "Take Me to Heaven," which features the show's leading lady (Patina Miller) and the rest of the sisters.

Producer Whoopi Goldberg also chats about the show, which is set to open at the Broadway Theatre April 20, and introduces the girls.

According to producers, "When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier (Miller) witnesses a murder, she is put in protective custody in the one place cops are sure she won't be found - a convent! Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with both the rigid lifestyle and an uptight Mother Superior (Victoria Clark). Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community, but in doing so blows her cover. Soon the gang are giving chase, only to find themselves up against Deloris and the power of her new found Sister Hood."

According to Miller's Twitter account, she had to get up at 3:30 AM to prepare herself for the performance, but said she was "looking forward to getting down with my nuns on tv this morning!!"
