Time for theatre buffs to go back to college -- Brooklyn College, that is, where several theatre, dance and concert notables will offer one-night performances during the fall 1997/winter 1998 season. Starting the season for the Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College, Oct. 18, will be actor/singer Mandy Patinkin (Evita, Sunday In The Park With George).
Nov. 15 brings Betty Buckley, of Triumph Of Love, Pippin and Sunset Boulevard, to the BCBC stage.
On March 7, 1998, the Capitol Steps sketch comedy troupe, recently in an extended run Off-Broadway, come to the Center.
Chicago, Cabaret and George M. star Joel Grey arrives March 15.
