News Patrick Carroll, Austin Lysy and Betsy Hogg Enter A Maze at Powerhouse Theater July 20 New York Stage and Film and Vassar College's Powerhouse Theater production of Rob Handel's A Maze, directed by Tony Award nominee Sam Buntrock (Sunday in the Park With George), begins performances July 20 at the Powerhouse Theater.

Performances continue through July 31.

The cast includes Mark Alhadeff (Cradle and All), Heidi Armbruster (Tea and Sympathy), Patrick Carroll (Good People), Betsy Hogg (The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie), Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Passing Strange), Austin Lysy (Macbeth, The American Plan), Mariann Mayberry (August: Osage County) and Daniel Oreskes (Billy Elliot: The Musical, Aida).

According to the Powerhouse, "Three storylines intersect and interweave throughout A Maze: a graphic novelist (Carroll) struggles to complete his 15,000 page comic book, a musician (Lysy) searches for the inspiration for his next hit, and a young girl (Hogg) strives to recreate her identity after years in captivity."

The creative team for A Maze includes set designer Beowulf Boritt, lighting designer David Weiner, sound designer Jill B.C. DuBuff and costume designer Clint Ramos.
