News Patti LuPone Among Stars to Sing Gershwin at 11th Annual Kennedy Center Gala Tony and Olivier Award-winner Patti LuPone is one of the many stars who will celebrate the songs of George Gershwin at The Kennedy Center's 11th Annual Gala April 27.

Joining LuPone for Fascinatin' Rhythm: A Tribute to George Gershwin will be Michael Feinstein, Tommy Tune and the Manhattan Rhythm Kings, New York City Ballet's Nilas Martins and Miranda Weese, and The Morgan State University Choir. The performers will be accompanied by The National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leonard Slatkin. In addition to the Gershwin program, the evening will also include a black tie dinner and dancing. Previous Kennedy Center Galas have saluted the works of Richard Rodgers as well as the songs of the musical theatre. Funds raised from the gala enable the famed institution to reach "nearly six million young people and their families each year through the Center's performances, community outreach and national education programs."

Tickets are available for the entire evening or the performance only. Tickets for only the performance will be available beginning March 23 and are priced between $25 and $50. Tickets for the performance, dinner and dancing range between $500 and $50,000.
