Some of Broadway and TV stars are set to save the world (or attempt to destroy it) in Steven Universe: The Movie this fall, including a reunion of Tony winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, who faced off in War Paint in 2017.

Joining forces with the Broadway titans are Orange Is the New Black Emmy winner Uzo Aduba, along with Steven Universe songwriters Chance the Rapper, Gallant, and Aimee Mann. This will be the first television movie for the Cartoon Network series created by Rebecca Singer.

Steven Universe: The Movie will pick up shortly after the titular character hung up his cape, soon encountering a new threat in Beach City. Series regulars Zach Callison and Estelle will continue to voice Steven and his pal Garnet, respectively.

For the uninitiated, the series revolves around Steven who lives with a magical alien group, the Crystal Gems. Steven, who is half-gem, goes on world-saving adventures with the extraterrestrials.
