Patty Duke, the incoming Aunt Eller of Oklahoma!, and Tommy Tune, back in New York in his White Tie and Tails revue, will lift Times Square's holiday spirit when they light the Broadway holiday tree at 5:15 PM Dec. 11 in Duffy Square.

Judy Kaye, Jeanine Morick and Carol Linnea Johnson of Mamma Mia! will open the ceremony, which includes a Theatre Development Fund and League of American Theatres and Producers holiday donation of $5,000 to a local charitable organization, not yet announced. Students from the Professional Performing Arts School will perform at the close of the event.

The annual ceremony — held in Duffy Square — is expected to draw performers from nearly all Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, who will head to the famed Square between matinee and evening performances.

Sponsored by Theatre Development Fund, The League of American Theatres and Producers and The Times Square Business Improvement District, the ceremony is free and open to the public. Duffy Square is located at the corner of Broadway and 46th Street.
