News Paul Scott Goodman Musicals Given Readings with Esparza, Larsen, Kelly in January Two new shows by Paul Scott Goodman, the composer of the Off-Broadway musical, Bright Lights, Big City, will be given readings in Manhattan in January.

The two musicals are called Rooms and Him & Her. The first will star Raúl Esparza and Kristen Lee Kelly, the latter Liz Larsen and Goodman himself. Him & Her was given a production in the 2001 New York International Fringe Festival. In that mounting, Goodman and Larsen starred. The show is made up of two one-person musicals, about a songwriter on the verge of fatherhood in NYC circa 1988 (Him) and the experiences of the same songwriter's wife, circa 1993 (Her).

The readings of Rooms will be Jan. 13 and 20 at 8 PM. The readings of Him & Her are Jan. 14 and 21. All take place at the Theatre on Two, 432 42nd Street, second floor.
