News PBS' "In The Life" Features Cherry Jones, David Marshall Grant and Paul Rudnick in May Broadway stars Cherry Jones (Imaginary Friends, Major Barbara) and David Marshall Grant (Angels in America, Bent) will host the May episode of "In The Life," Thirteen/WNET's national television newsmagazine about gay and lesbian issues and culture.

The one-hour episode titled "The Fundamental Fight" will air on the PBS flagship WNET May 8 at 10 PM (ET). Check your local listings.

ITL's "The Fundamental Fight" will explore various topics focusing on religious groups' campaigns against lesbians and gays via television, voting, education and within houses of worship.

The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told playwright Paul Rudnick will sit in for ITL regular Harvey Fierstein (Hairspray) as a guest commentator for a segment titled "Out Takes." The scribe will respond to Jerry Falwell's condemnation of gays and lesbians for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
