News   PBS' "Theater Talk" Begins New Season Oct. 8
 
"Theater Talk," the PBS chat show featuring interviews with top theatre writers and performers, begins its new season Oct. 8.

The first episode of the upcoming season will focus on The Culture Project's production of Guantánamo: Honor Bound to Defend Freedom. Kathleen Chalfant and Aasif H. Mandvi, who co-star in the play, will discuss the work, which concerns the story of detainees at the American military base located in Cuba's Guantánamo Bay. The Oct. 15 broadcast will feature an interview with Richard III's Peter Dinklage, and a preview of the new theatre season will be presented Oct. 22. The latter will feature discussions with writers Michael Musto, Patrick Pacheco and Jesse McKinley.
