One of the performances included in the broadcast will be chosen by viewers of the show, who may vote for a favorite at www.lincolncenter.org/lflc/viewer_input.html, by sending an email to [email protected], or by sending mail to Live From Lincoln Center, 70 Lincoln Center Paza, New York 10023. Votes must be received by April 17.
Live From Lincoln Center was created in 1976 by John Goberman, who remains executive producer. The first broadcast, on January 30, 1976, featured the New York Philharmonic, conducted by Andr_ Previn. Van Cliburn was the soloist.
The show has been nominated for 51 Emmys and has won 12 awards.
