Comic-magicians Penn & Teller will return to San Diego's La Jolla Playhouse, bringing a mixture of classic material and tricks never seen by San Diego audiences. The production, simply titled Penn & Teller, performs eight shows, Dec. 1-6. Penn (Jillette) and Teller (just plain Teller) have been performing their dark-hued comedy and magic since 1975. Together they've produced a best-selling book, a home video, an award-winning PBS special, a Broadway & Off-Broadway run, a CD ROM, and a feature film, "Penn and Teller Get Killed."
