Perennial marks Minoff's playwriting debut. Alexa Coblentz directs the engagement that was originally scheduled to run through June 29 at the Sidewalk Studio Theater. It will now play an additional week of performances to July 6. There will be no performance July 4.

It has also been announced that Australian actor Jonathan Patrick Moore ("Neighbours," "William and Kate") will join the production for the final weekend of performances.

Here's how the play is billed: "Perennial follows Rosemary, an aspiring painter and free spirit who has just moved to New York City. While sketching in Washington Square Park she meets Tom, an architect and playboy. Their intense chemistry quickly evolves into a serious romance. Juxtaposed with this burgeoning romance are Tom's best friends, May and Donald. They've been married for several years and are now facing the monotony of their life together. Further complicating these romances is Leo, Rosemary's often inappropriate, yet earnest best friend from high school. Watch these characters struggle, come together and fall apart as they try to find themselves."

Minoff plays Rosemary in a cast that also features Billy Aaron Brown ("Jeepers Creepers 2"), John Churchill ("Criminal Minds"), Kelly Frye ("NCIS: LA") and Wes Whitehead ("By The Time The Sun Is Hot").

Jonathan Oliver Sessler and Page Bartelt produce the run. The creative team includes Vanessa Chafen (costume design), Paige Selene Luke (lighting design), J.J. Wickham (set design), Adeline Newmann (video design), Joe LaRue (video design) and Borja Sau (sound design). Minoff created the role of Mary Rogers in the 1991 Tony-winning musical The Will Rogers Follies, and starred as Bernadette Peters' daughter, Lucy, in the 1993 musical The Goodbye Girl.
