News Phantom of the Opera Star Howard McGillin Marries Howard McGillin, a two-time Tony nominee for his performances in Anything Goes and The Mystery of Edwin Drood, married Richard Scott Samson Sept. 17 at the Manhattan Marriage Bureau, according to the New York Times.

Samson works as a senior counsel for the Times, specializing in intellectual property issues.

McGillin, who was previously married, has also been seen on Broadway in She Loves Me, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Secret Garden and The Phantom of the Opera.

Samson is a graduate of Northwestern University; he received his law degree from Rutgers University. McGillin graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
