On Feb. 27 Runolfsson, who currently stars as Phantom's opera diva Carlotta Giudicelli, will play the downtown cabaret. Show time is 7 PM. About her upcoming evening Runolfsson recently told Playbill.com, “[I think I will be performing] a lot of stuff I’ve never done before. There’s a Craig Carnelia song I want to do, a Kelly Clarkson song I want to do, and an Adam Guettel song I want to do. My daughter’s father, [producer Tony Adams], passed away last October, and I’m thinking part of the show will be a bit of a farewell. . . . I’m still in a state of mourning . . . so I’m sure that will influence [the show] at some level, but at the same time it will have a sense of moving on, moving on to the next chapter of my life.”

Anne Runolfsson has appeared on Broadway in The Phantom of the Opera, Victor/Victoria, Cyrano, Aspects of Love and Les Misérables as well as in the national tours of The Secret Garden and Les Miz; her Off-Broadway credits include Listen to My Heart, Jack's Holiday and Cather County. Runolfsson has performed with symphony orchestras throughout the country, and her acclaimed debut solo recording is entitled "At Sea."

The Duplex Cabaret Theatre is located at 61 Christopher Street. Tickets, priced at $20, are available by visiting www.smarttix.com.
