Classic Arts News Philadelphia Orchestra Concludes 2007 Free Neighborhood Concert Series July 21 in University City The Philadelphia Orchestra gives the last of its 2007 Neighborhood Concerts tomorrow night in Clark Park in the University City neighborhood of West Philadelphia.
The free outdoor performance, conducted by Rossen Milanov, begins at 7 p.m. The program includes Chabrier's Espaê±a, Bizet's Carmen Suite No. 2, Rimsky-Korsakov's Capriccio espagnol, Mexican composer Arturo Mšrquez's Danz‹n No. 2, the "Hesitation Tango" from Samuel Barber's Souvenirs and Ravel's Bolero.

The orchestra last played at Clark Park in 2001; nearly 3,000 listeners attended.

The Philadelphia Orchestra gives three free Neighborhood Concerts, presented by Wachovia, each summer in local parks in Philadelphia and vicinity. For more information, visit www.philorch.org/neighborhood.
