Hoffman ("Capote," Long Day's Journey Into Night) is making his directorial debut on the film in which he also stars alongside John Ortiz and Daphne Rubin-Vega. Hoffman, Ortiz and Rubin-Vega also appeared in the 2007 Off-Broadway production of Glaudini's play at the Public Theater.

A 6:30 PM screening of "Jack Goes Boating" will be followed by a discussion with Hoffman and cast members from the film.

The 92nd Street Y has also announced that screen actor Michael Caine, who appeared in such films as "Sleuth," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels," "Educating Rita" and "Alfie," will appear Nov. 9 at 7:15 PM. The evening will also feature clips from Caine's lengthy film career.
