Presented by Manhattan Concert Productions, which staged a starry concert production of Ragtime at Avery Fisher Hall last winter, the 8 PM evening promises performances by Jackson (The Performers, Finian's Rainbow, Xanadu), Boykin (Porgy and Bess, Show Boat), Carmello (Scandalous, Parade) and soprano Bullock.

The New York City Chamber Orchestra will offer overtures from the musical theatre canon, with Jackson, Boykin, Carmello and Bullock delivering solos from Broadway; attendees can also expect to enjoy choral work from the Manhattan Chorale.

As previously reported, Manhattan Concert Productions will return to Avery Fisher Hall in February 2014 with a concert staging of Maury Yeston's Tony Award-winning musical Titanic.
