Broadway News Phillipa Soo Leads an Amélie Performance on The Today Show The new musical kicked off the NBC show’s “Best of Broadway” week.

Phillipa Soo and her Amélie co-stars delivered French whimsy to Rockefeller Plaza April 24 with a taste of the new musical. Take a look at the performance, which kicked off The Today Show’s “Best of Broadway” week, below.

The plaza showcase featured a medley of the songs “Times Are Hard for Dreamers” and “Tour de France” from Daniel Messé and Nathan Tysen’s score.

In addition to Soo, the cast of Amélie features Adam Chanler-Berat, Tony Sheldon, David Andino, Randy Blair, Heath Calvert, Alison Cimmet, Savvy Crawford, Manoel Felciano, Harriett D. Foy, Alyse Alan Louis, Maria-Christina Oliveras, and Paul Whitty. The Pam MacKinnon-helmed production opened at the Walter Kerr Theatre April 3.
