The Tony Award nominations for the 2002-03 Broadway season were announced 8:30 AM (ET) May 12 at Sardi's restaurant by John Lithgow and Melanie Griffith. The 57th annual Tony ceremony will take place June 8 at Radio City Music Hall, and will be televised live on CBS (8-11 PM, ET). Hugh Jackman will host the event.

Among the celebrities scheduled to present awards at this year's Tonys are Nathan Lane, Melanie Griffith, John Leguizamo, Edie Falco, Alan Cumming, Benjamin Bratt, Marisa Tomei, Rosie Perez, Julianna Margulies, Frank Langella, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Barbara Walters, Danny Glover, Christopher Reeve, Laurence Fishburne, Vanessa Redgrave, Lynn Redgrave and Joey Fatone. Jason Alexander and Martin Short will present one of this year’s Tony Awards live from the Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (the current stop on their tour of The Producers.
