News PHOTO CALL: 2008 Touring Broadway Awards The winners of the Broadway League's 2008 Touring Broadway Awards were announced April 14 at the Mercury Suite of the Hilton New York.

Presenters at the event included Chazz Palminteri, Jersey Boys choreographer Sergio Trugillo, and August: Osage County stars Rondi Reed, Madeleine Martin and Amy Morton. Monty Python's Spamalot and the Roundabout's Twelve Angry Men took home, respectively, the Best New Touring Musical and Best Touring Play prizes.

Wicked was recognized with the Touring Broadway Audience Choice Award for the second consecutive year.

The Touring Broadway Achievement Award went to actor Brad Little, a stage veteran who has toured in numerous productions, but is best known for having played the title role of The Phantom of the Opera more than 2,100 times in cities across the U.S. and Asia as well as on Broadway.
