The tour of the current Broadway revival will launch from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts and feature Nikki Snelson (Legally Blonde) as Cassie and Michael Gruber as Zach.
Bob Avian directed and co-choreographed the new Broadway staging with Michael Bennett's original Tony-winning choreography re-staged by Baayork Lee. The musical — conceived, directed and choreographed by the late Bennett — features music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban and a book by James Kirkwood and Nicholas Dante.
