Tyne Daly, Donna Murphy and the cast of The Norman Conquests were presenters. God of Carnage and Billy Elliot: The Musical were named Outstanding New Broadway Play and Musical, respectively, while Ruined and The Toxic Avenger took home the leading Off-Broadway prizes.
Shrek the Musical's Sutton Foster and West Side Story's Josefina Scaglione shared the Outstanding Actress in a Musical honor.
