News   PHOTO CALL: A Gala Evening for Nanette City Center Encores! held its gala performance for No, No, Nanette May 12. Mara Davi, Rosie O'Donnell, Sandy Duncan and more were featured in the cast.

Walter Bobbie directed the Vincent Youmans, Irving Caesar, Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel musical, which played a brief run at New York's City Center. The cast also featured Charles Kimbrough, Beth Leavel, Michael Berresse, Shonn Wiley, Angel Reda, Jennifer Cody and Nancy Anderson.

Gypsy star Patti LuPone was on hand to present Douglas S. Cramer with the 2008 Fiorello H. LaGuardia Award.

No, No, Nanette is billed as a "light-hearted tale of millionaires, misunderstood wives, bathing beauties, wanton women and flappers," according to a release. "Nanette (Davi), a young Manhattan heiress, tries to experience life by running away to the big, bad and bawdy town of Atlantic City, only to be followed by her straight-laced, tap-dancing fiancé (Wiley), her cook/chaperone (O'Donnell), her lawyer and his wife (Leavel) and her legal guardian (Kimbrough), who just want everyone to 'be happy.'"
