News PHOTO CALL: A Snowy Day on Broadway There's no business like snow business. A winter storm has blanketed the New York City area, but it is expected to be business as usual for Broadway shows on Friday.

The National Weather Service reported that by the time the storm ends on Saturday morning, 10-16 inches of snow will have fallen on the area. With these weather events, Broadway usually follows the old entertainment rule, "The show must go on." There is still a population of tourists and New Yorkers eager to take in a play or musical — or take advantage of the possibility that some hard-to-get tickets might be easier to snag if weather-reluctant theatregoers stay away.
