News PHOTO CALL: Alexander Gemignani, Kate Baldwin, Aaron Lazar and Christiane Noll Sing Sondheim at Carnegie Hall A host of Broadway favorites interpreted the songs of Tony-winning composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim Nov. 19 at Carnegie Hall.

Billed as "Carnegie Hall's only concert in celebration of Stephen Sondheim's 80th birthday," The New York Pops' Stephen Sondheim 80th Birthday Celebration featured a "collection of the greatest songs and soliloquies from Sondheim's extensive career, which includes hit musicals A Little Night Music, Company, Gypsy, Into The Woods, Sweeney Todd, and West Side Story, among others."

Conducted by Steven Reineke, the concert boasted the talents of Kate Baldwin, Alexander Gemignani, Aaron Lazar and Christiane Noll as well as cabaret veteran Marilyn Maye and the Essential Voices USA (Judith Clurman, music director).
