News PHOTO CALL: Allergist's Lavin and Busch Are Reunited at NYC's Birdland Linda Lavin—the Broadway performer whose recent credits include The Diary of Anne Frank and Hollywood Arms—was reunited with friend and playwright Charles Busch for the opening night of her cabaret run at New York City's Birdland on Aug. 29.

Busch, also a well-known performer himself, penned The Tale of the Allergist's Wife, for which Lavin starred in for Manhattan Theatre Club during the 2000 Broadway season. She was nominated for a Tony Award as Best Actress in a Play for the role. Below, Lavin and Busch are seen after her cabaret performance at the popular Birdland venue, located at 315 West 44th Street in Manhattan.
