Along with Susan Stroman, Julie Taymor and Graciela Daniele, Ann Reinking and Kathleen Marshall were feted at the American Theatre Wing's annual luncheon April 16. Reinking, a Tony Award winner for Chicago's choreography and an Olivier Award winner for Fosse, is the only one performing on Broadway - she currently starring in Fosse opposite
Since Taymor won her Tony Award for The Lion King, the first for a woman musical director, women choreographers and directors have made major breakthroughs on the Great White Way. Marshall has three choreography credits out there - Kiss Me, Kate, Follies and Seussical - while Daniele has one: Annie Get Your Gun.
