Leonard Riggio, Chairman of Barnes & Noble, Inc., presided as Benefit Chair and Oskar Eustis hosted the evening.
The star-studded program included Anne Hathaway reading Dorothy Parker, Sam Waterston reading Don Marquis, Benjamin Walker reading Ernest Hemingway, Colin Donnell singing Cole Porter and Maude Maggart singing Noël Coward. Lin-Manuel Miranda presented the Janus Prize to Pulitzer Prize-winning historian Ron Chernow.
