News PHOTO CALL: Anything Goes: She Gets a Kick John Barrowman and Sally Ann Triplett (pictured below) get close in the London revival of Anything Goes, which uses the revised script and score seen in 1987 at Lincoln Center Theater.

Anything Goes is a raucous ride aboard an ocean liner full of extraordinary passengers, from Public Enemy No. 13 Moonface Martin to nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney. Cole Porter wrote the tunes, which include "You're the Top," "I Get a Kick Out of You," "It's De-Lovely," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," "Easy To Love," "All Through The Night" and the title tune. Barrowman, who plays stowaway Billy Crocker, has credits on both sides of the Atlantic, including Broadway's Putting It Together and London's Anything Goes opposite Elaine Paige. Other roles include Joe Gillis in Sunset Boulevard with Betty Buckley, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast and Alex in the Irish premiere of Aspects of Love. Triplett, who is Reno Sweeney, has been featured in London productions of Grease and Jolson.

The Roayl National Theatre production, directed by Trevor Nunn, plays in the Olivier Theatre through March 22, 2003. Opening night was Dec. 18.
