News PHOTO CALL: Applause Final Curtain Call and Reception City Center Encores! kicked off its 15th season with Applause. Originally presented on Broadway in 1970, the musical boasts a Charles Strouse score, Lee Adams lyrics and a book by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. This concert staging featured two-time Tony winner Christine Ebersole as Margo Channing with her Grey Gardens co-star Erin Davie as Eve Harrington.

Helmed by director/choreographer Kathleen Marshall, the production featured a starry cast that included Kate Burton (Karen Richards), Mario Cantone (Duane Fox), Tom Hewitt (Howard Benedict), Michael Park (Bill Sampson), Megan Sikora (Bonnie) and Chip Zien (Buzz Richards). The five-performance run concluded the evening of Feb. 10. Here are some photos from the curtain call and the following reception held in the City Center mezzanine lobby:
