News PHOTO CALL: Atlantic Unveils Their Intelligent Design at Off-Broadway Opening The Atlantic Theatre Company officially kicked off its 20th Anniversary season of work with the opening night of Rolin Jones’ eccentric play The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow on Sept. 19.

Jones’ play, which has previously been seen at South Coast Rep, Yale Rep and Washington's Studio Theatre, makes its New York premiere under the direction of Jackson Gay. Jenny Chow tracks the creation of the robot of the title by agoraphobic genius Jennifer Marcus, a teen with dreams of sending her android to the places she cannot go. At left, Jones and Gay share their joy after the performance. Below, the cast members Eunice Wong, Julienne Hanzelka Kim, Linda Gehringer, Michael Cullen, Remy Auberjonois and Ryan King are seen at the opening night party for The Intelligent Design of Jenny Chow at Strata, located at 915 Broadway in New York City.

The production runs through Oct. 16.
