PHOTO CALL: August Wilson Day

News   PHOTO CALL: August Wilson Day
Whoopi Goldberg, Tamara Tunie and Radio Golf co-stars Harry Lennix and Tonya Pinkins celebrated August Wilson Day on what would have been the playwright's 62nd birthday, April 27.

Wilson's widow, Constanza Romero, was also part of the festivities that honored the late two-time Pulitzer Prize winner in New York City's Bryant Park.

The day-long tribute featured a performance of the rarely-heard Wilson poetic monologue, "Janitor"; a special post-show celebration at the evening performance of Radio Golf at the Cort Theatre; and post-show curtain speeches at regional theatres nationwide.
