Playwright and Drama Dept. artistic director Douglas Carter Beane directed the musical revue Free to Be You and Me for the company with Sam Davis as his musical director. Keith Nobbs and Robert Ari star in the production, which opened June 13 Off-Broadway.

Free to Be You and Me is a production based on the cult album of the same name, featuring songs by Marlo Thomas, Peter Stone, Herb Gardner Carl Reiner, Carol Hall, Sheldon Harnick and Shel Silverstein. The whimisical kids tunes include "Don't Dress Your Cat in an Apron," "Dudley Pippen and the Principal," "When We Grow Up," "My Dog is a Plumber," "William's Doll" and "It's Alright to Cry." Free to Be You and Me plays through June 30.
