News PHOTO CALL: Billy Elliot Celebrates National Dance Day With Public Ballet Warm-Up In honor of National Dance Day, current Billy Elliot star Guiseppe Bausilio and the show's Ballet Girls hosted a free ballet warm-up July 27 outside of the Imperial Theatre.

Billy Elliot, the tale of a working-class community and a boy who wants to be a ballet dancer, features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry. It won the Tony Award for Best Musical. The musical currently features Guiseppe Bausilio, Tade Biesinger, Joseph Harrington and Peter Mazurowski alternating in the title role.
