The three restaurants total raised $10,000 to donate, and then a regular at Bar Centrale matched the amount that Bar Centrale raised so the total that will be donated to Save the Children for their typhoon relief is $12,500.

Save the Children's Typhoon Haiyan emergency teams are working around the clock on humanitarian relief for Filipino children and families. Thanks to a tremendous outpouring of support from generous donors, Save the Children has mounted a massive response in the Philippines. The response focuses on delivering the critical assistance children desperately need in the aftermath of a disaster of this catastrophic scale.

Overcoming very difficult conditions, Save the Children has started to deliver aid to the most vulnerable, already reaching thousands of people.
